-Mentors (we have 20 kids waiting on mentors!)-Proverbs 22:6 says, “Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it”. We need as many Christian Men and Women as we can find to commit to mentoring children in Columbia. Mentoring is one of the most beneficial things for our kids, their parents, and even for the mentors themselves. It’s a big commitment. We ask for a minimum 1 year, weekly commitment with the hope that the relationship will continue after 1 yr. Many of our mentors have been doing it for over 6 years now! (ask us about scheduling conflicts) Call us with questions!

Classroom Volunteers -Monday – Thursday 2:30pM-5:30PM

Can you volunteer 1-4 days per week in our after-school program? The job will be tracking with elementary aged kids throughout the day, supporting our classroom teachers. This is one of the most important and FUN jobs we have. You read, do HW, and play at recess, among other things.  Please contact us if you are interested in learning more about this position!

-Prayer Partners  – Mark 11:24 says, ”Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” We need the power of prayer to be active in our ministry. We are all imperfect people, serving a perfect God. We can only accomplish good things through the God’s hand. Please consider praying for us on a daily, weekly or monthly basis!

-Enrichment Teachers  Weekly Commitment

Have a life skill our kids could benefit from learning? Finances, mechanics, cooking, sewing?… Let’s talk!  We are open to anything fun that will get our kids minds thinking in new ways! Anything that teaches a life skill or a marketable skill in a fun way is always a hit!

-Cleaners – Thursdays – 5:30-6:30

Each week we clean and prepare the building for Grace Church of Columbia to use it on Sunday. Could you help us clean? We will be grateful for ongoing or 1 week commitments. Let us know if you are interested!
